Internal Relief Veterinarian | Twin Cities Metro | $90-$110/Hour + Mileage Full-Time Benefits Starting at Just 30 Hours/Week Lakefield Veterinary Group is looking for a Full-Time Internal Relief Veterinarian to join our Twin Cities Metro Area team. As an Internal Relief Veterinarian with Lakefield, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple established hospitals throughout the 7-county Twin Cities Metro Area , giving you variety in your day-to-day practice while building relationships with different veterinary teams. Even better, you'll have a voice in your schedule. You'll work directly with experienced Regional Operations Specialists to build a schedule that works for you, with all or most shifts scheduled well in advance. And because you're traveling between Lakefield hospitals, mileage reimbursement is provided. Why Choose Internal Relief? Flexibility without sacrificing stability. $90-$110/hour + mileage reimbursement Full-time benefits starting at just 30 hours/week Help set your schedule with our Regional Operations team Shifts are typically scheduled well in advance Work at hospitals throughout the Twin Cities 7-county metro area Experience a variety of hospital cultures, caseloads, and medical approaches Collaborate with experienced DVMs and support teams No need to build your own relief clientele or constantly search for your next shift The support and resources of a family-owned veterinary group behind you What You'll Do Every hospital and every day can look a little different, but your role may include: Performing wellness, sick, and urgent care examinations Diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions Performing surgeries and dental procedures Developing and communicating treatment plans with clients Providing high-quality preventative and medical care Collaborating with DVMs, technicians, and support teams Maintaining accurate medical records Educating clients about preventative care and long-term wellness We want our Internal Relief DVMs to feel like part of the team, not someone simply filling a hole in the schedule. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with the teams you work alongside while bringing your experience and perspective to each hospital.
